What are Dermastrips?

How do Dermastrips work?

What are the differences between Prescriptive, Professional and Personal?
AngelLift Prescriptive is a custom made oral implant that can only be fitted by a certified AngelLift dentist. This lift temporarily attaches to the rear molars and can be worn comfortably all-day. You can laugh, talk, smile, and converse without anyone knowing you are wearing it. AngelLift Prescriptive is designed for patients who have asymmetrical (uneven) lower facial issues and is only sold through AngelLift certified dentists
AngelLift Professional works exactly like AngelLift Personal (Dermastrips), except our Professional line allows you to adjust your lift pressure and is designed to offer some customization to meet your specific facial contours. AngelLift Professional is only sold in select medical spas, resort spas and medical, dental and esthetician offices.
AngelLift Personal (Dermastrips) is our anchor and most popular product line. AngelLift Dermastrips apply even and comfortable lift across the lower face for a more youthful look and lift. Unlike creams, serums or injections, AngelLift Dermastrips work through safe, soft, continual pressure from under the skin.
What are Dermastrips made from?
Each patented AngelLift Dermastrip is manufactured from a special, surgical grade resin, which is soft, flexible and hypoallergenic. Your Dermastrip purchase includes two, reversible Dermastrips, and a specially designed case for hygienic storage.
Do Dermastrips come in different sizes?
Dermastrips are a single size, designed to fit almost anyone of any age for both women and men.
How do I use Dermastrips?
Your Dermastrip purchase includes two, reversible Dermastrips, which can be worn with either side facing outward. They are placed inside the mouth, under the upper or lower lip, along the gum line, just above the teeth. They easily slide into position. Don’t worry if they overlap your teeth slightly as they will still be highly effective. Only use a single Dermastrip per lip and only wear one Dermastrip at a time (top or bottom). Are Dermastrips comfortable to wear?
The longer you wear Dermastrips the more comfortable they feel. If any irritation occurs, remove immediately. Wait until your mouth sensitivity reduces and start wearing them again for a short period of time, such as 1-2 minutes. Do not use in conjunction with any other removable oral or dental device. You should always refrain from talking, eating, or drinking while wearing your Dermastrips.
When is a good time to wear Dermastrips?
A good time to wear your AngelLift Dermastrips is when you are relaxing, like watching TV, checking your email, reading a book or bathing. Please note that you should never use Dermastrips if you are drinking, eating, talking or sleeping.
Do you wear Dermastrips during the day or night?
Dermastrips are to be worn during the day, when you are relaxing and not in public. NEVER wear your Dermastrips when sleeping.
Can I wear my Dermastrips if I have dentures?
Yes. As long as your dentures fit well and you do not feel any discomfort, Dermastrips can be worn with dentures.
Can I use Dermastrips on my upper and lower lip area at the same time?
Angelift does not recommend wearing Dermastrips in both lip areas at the same time. Healthy skin can only sustain a certain amount of cell growth at any one time. By wearing both Dermastrips simultaneously, you can impact recommended wear time necessary to achieve optimal results. Should you want to treat both lips, you may wear the Dermastrips consecutively, one after the other.
What results can I expect to see?
Depending on your age, condition of your skin and general nutrition, you should see a visible change within 30 of use. We recommend wearing Dermastrips 10-30 minutes each day. After 30 days reduce to one treatment per week. If you stop wearing Dermastrips too soon, results may diminish. Continual use will maintain stimulus to the entire region to reduce the look of perioral wrinkles.
Are Dermastrips a permanent solution?
The results of Dermastrips are based upon cumulative effect. For longer lasting and optimum results continued use of Dermastrips is recommended.
How long will my Dermastrips last or be effective?
Your Dermastrips are guaranteed to maintain their ‘lifting’ effectiveness for 30 days from first use, if stored properly. Much like you would replace a toothbrush, AngelLift recommends replacing your Dermastrips every 60 days.
How do you get the best results from Dermastrips?
Use your Dermastrips every day for the first 30 days. At first, wear them for a couple of minutes a day and then build up to 10 to 30 minutes a day, as you feel more comfortable with them. For optimum results, relax your facial muscles while wearing Dermastrips and refrain from talking, eating or drinking while they are in place. Once you have reached your desired appearance, maintaining your new look will not require as much wear time, but everyone is different and you will want to adjust your daily / weekly ‘lifting’ regime accordingly. For best results use Dermastrips with an oil free moisturizer (like our Dermasome).
What if I am not seeing the results I desire?
There are a few specific behaviors that will substantially reduce the effects of Dermastrips. 1) Smoking - Smoking affects the elasticity of the skin and creates muscle tension around the lower face affecting the look of the lips. 2) Straws - Straws can embed muscle memory and create lower facial wrinkles. 3) Hot Drinks - Drinking hot liquids like Coffee and Tea cause a lip pursing effect, which increases muscle tension. 4) Chemical Cleansing - Most facial cleansers contain either alcohol or soap, both have been directly linked to premature aging.
What else can I do to increase the effectiveness of using Dermastrips?
To further increase the effectiveness of your Dermastrips, try using an oil free moisturizing serum like Dermasome. Many moisturizing products contain oil to increase shelf life – but oil deprives your skin of hydration and suffocates it by repelling water and blocking air (two important elements needed for healthy skin), so oil free moisturizers are better. Also, consider taking daily vitamins in order to improve the condition and elasticity of your facial skin. Lastly, consider using chemical free cleansing. Use a microfibre cloth (like our AngelLift MicroFibre pH) to cleanse and remove make-up as a gentle alternative to soap or alcohol-based cleansers.
How do I clean my Dermastrips?
Simply rinse in clean water after use, dry and store in the specially designed, anodized, mirrored case. You can also clean your Dermastrips with any brand of mouth-wash.
Are there any side effects from using Dermastrips?
There are no known negative side effects from the use of AngelLift Dermastrips.
What effects will Dermastrips have on my lips ?
Dermastrips are also known to restore lip volume. With continued use, the gentle upward pressure on the lips can help rejuvenate cell production that has been lost with age, resulting in greater lip roll and size.

What is Dermasome made from?
Dermasome is an oil free and preservative free, all natural, all over facial moisturizing serum used to hydrate the skin and lift-out lines created from dry and/or oily skin. Dermasome is a patented formula that utilizes liposomal technology to capture active botanical extracts for dermal relaxation and treatment of age lines.
Ingredients include: Wheat Germ Extract, Seaweed Extract, Sunflower Extract, Propylene Glycol, Glyceryl Monostearate, Hyaluronic Acid, Distilled Water, Methyl P-Hydroxbenzonate, Glycerine, Triethanolamine, and Carbomer 940.

How often should I use Dermasome?
For best results you should use Dermasome at least once daily. A 30g jar of Dermasome should last you approximately 60 days.
Dermasome is the recommended lifting serum for use with Dermastrips.
