Christina’s AngelLift Journey
So I finally started using AngelLift! Weekly, I’ll be posting my progress with AngelLift on the blog, letting you know how it’s working for me. AngelLift Dermastrips diminish the appearance of laugh lines and smoker lines and restore natural-looking lip volume lost due to aging. As a 30-something (ehem) woman, my laugh lines were starting to bother me, and my lips didn’t have the same volume they used to have when I was in my early 20s. I also noticed that underneath my lips, the volume was lacking, leading to less support (and youthfulness) for my mouth, if that makes sense.
After getting my AngelLift order, which included the Microfibre pH cleansing cloths (so high tech—they come in tablets and magically unfurl into wet cloths ready to use!), the AngelLift Dermasome (also futuristic—it was a gel serum with suspended balls of botanical ingredients), and of course, the AngelLift Dermastrips! The Dermastrips were clear, bendable and flexible, but when I placed them in my mouth, I could feel them working.
For the first few days, I just used the Dermastrips for about 10-15 minutes while I got used to them, working my way up to the recommended 30 minutes a day. First, I used the Microfibre cloth to clean my face, then applied the Dermasome, and then finally placed one Dermastrip in between my upper lip and gums, as high up as possible. It was an interesting feeling. I could definitely feel it putting pressure on the inside of my upper lip, along the lip border and out towards the laugh lines. After using the AngelLift Dermastrip for my upper lip area, I then placed it between my lower lip and gums, as low as possible. I could definitely feel it more here than I did when I used it for my upper lip.
The only thing I can think of comparing it to is when you wear a retainer. Not uncomfortable at all, but definitely aware that it’s there. I’ve used them for a week, which is too early to see long-term results, but here’s what I DO notice: My lines look a little better and my lips look bigger for a few minutes after using the Dermastrips. Is this a preview of my long-term results with regular use? I hope so! I’ll be using AngelLift Dermastrips faithfully for the next 30-60 days and document my journey here to hopefully give you personal insight into how AngelLift Dermastrips work and how they can diminish the appearance of lines and add natural-looking lip volume.
